At a Soirée Negociée, Citadelic always invites an interesting sparring partner for a musical collaboration. For this third edition we are teaming up with Zephyrus, a solid Ghent collective that is responsible for up-and-coming talent and established values in GLOBAL SOUNDS.

Spainintheass was the electro-flamenco project of Myrddin De Cauter, Lionel Beuvens and Tomas De Smet. With Myrddin's dexterous virtuosity this time on electric guitar next to strong drum beats and thick bass grooves.
It’s about time for the next step, introducing Stijn Kuppens on violoncello.

MYRDDIN & NINO DE LOS REYES 

Myrddin's music cuts to the marrow and bone, his speed sometimes seems alien, but whoever takes the time to listen to his music enters a safe world of pure emotion, beauty.
For the presentation of his album 'Myfyrio' in the Gravensteen a few years ago, Myrddin managed to impress none other than rising star Nino de los Reyes - one of the strongest artists in contemporary flamenco who brings extra poetry, in any case already imaginative language of Myrddin .
Nino de los Reyes has toured with Carmen Cortes, Javier Baron and Tony Gatlif's show Vertige, among others, or was featured as a guest by Pepe Habichuela, Enrique Morente from Paco de Lucia's band, in an appreciation to the grandmaster. De los Reyes is known above all for his incredible footwork and his extraordinary sense of rhythm. You can hear that on Paul Simon's album "Stranger to Stranger". Nino de los Reyes, along with pianist Chick Corea and other musicians from the Spanish Heart Band, won a Grammy Award for Best Latin Jazz Album three years ago.

So for this performance we brought again Nino out from Spain for another evening full of fireworks, pure beauty, passion and adventure!
